Murray & Linda Smith, along with David & Kaye Trayner are pleased to invite you to the wedding of Callum & Nicole at Bangor Farm, Darfield, on the 16th of April, 2021.
Time Line
- The venue will be open to guests from 3:00pm.
- The wedding ceremony will start at 3:30pm.
- The ceremony will be followed by photos with guests, and some light refreshments.
- Reception will commence with a buffet dinner and speeches.
- Finally, the first dance will kick us off into the party!
- The last dance will be at 11:30pm.
The Wedding Crew
Bride & Groom

Nicole & Callum met in October of 2018, and quickly hit it off. Their first date went so well in fact, that it went from being "just coffee", to "Coffee, a walk around the CBD, and then dinner".
They've been dating since then, moved in together in mid-2019, and most recently got engaged in August of 2020.
The Best Man
Thomas has been a close friend of Callum's since they met in primary school. Both boys went to Oxford Area School, and so subsequently spent 13 years at school together. He's a proud old man, and loves any opportunity to have a grumble about something.
The Maid of Honour
Reegan is one of Nicole’s younger sisters, so it’s fair to say she has known Nicole her entire life! She has a quick wit, a big heart, and is always ready with a kindly worded come-back. Reegan loves a good boogie and will most likely be the first one on the dance floor!
The Groomsmen
Rounding out the rest of the groomsmen we have Glen, Callum's older brother and father of the flower girls;
Tim, a cousin and friend of Callum's since pre-school, they went to the same pre-school, primary & secondary schools.
And Joe, who has known Callum since intermediate school and who has the dubious honour of being the person to have lived with Callum the longest of any person not an immediate family member.
The Bridesmaids
Balancing out the bridal party we have Marie, a long time friend of Nicole's, who had originally told Callum to keep away from Nicole, but has since changed her mind;
Zoe, Nicole's youngest sister is an animal lover, and happens to be the favourite aunty to Nicole's cats;
and finally Belinda, a close friend of Nicole's, and the one who always seemed to have a new adventure that she was eager to lead Nicole on. She's joining us from Brisbane, so you'll have to excuse the ozzy twang!
The Flower Girls
Lacey (6) & Maella (4), are Callum's nieces and are both extremely excited to be flower girls for Nicole & Callum's wedding, and there's a good chance they might steal the show!

Covid-19
At the current time, only New Zealand citizens & residents, and people with approved special visa's can enter the country. Additionally, all entrant's are required to return a negative test prior to boarding their flight to New Zealand, and must stay in a managed isolation facility for 14 days immediately upon arrival.
If you're intending to travel to the wedding from an international location, please be sure to keep up to date with the latest Covid-19 requirements (found here).
As we are in alert level 1, the wedding is proceeding as planned with approximately 120 guests. However, should we be moved to level 2, with a restriction on guest numbers we may need to refine the list of attendee's, limiting to immediate family & close friends.
If you're unable to make the wedding we would like to do a one year anniversary party in which we hope you'll be able to join us.
Venue
The wedding will be taking place at Bangor Farm, just outside of Darfield, 40 minutes from Christchurch.
